Deputy Project Manager

 

Job Reference: MPTDPM01

 

Role:

 

The Deputy Project Manager’s role is to assist the Project Management team as required in order to meet business objectives. The DPM will also be tasked to manage specific requirements within a Project

 

Experience:

 

An experienced project management professional with a demonstrable track record in the control of large scale multiple telecom Projects

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • To protect NASCO’s interests at all times and to ensure that any issues with a potential impact to the Project are escalated to the Program Manager or designated Project Manager

  • To assist and advise the Program Manager and Project Manager when interfacing with the Customer and to maintain close dialogue with the Customer on day to day Program / Project issues

  • To utilize a structured Project Management approach to all assigned tasks

  • Closely liaise with the Customer on the Customer’s acquisition and availability of new green field sites in accordance with the Project implementation Plan and to regularly report status to the designated Project Manager

  • To prepare and submit regular reports (or inputs to) as required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business admin or related field.

  • 5+ years project management experience in a telecom environment

  • Superior communication and negotiation skills.

  • Fluent in written and spoken Arabic & English

  • PC skills

 


 

Project Finance Controller

 

Job Reference: MPTFC01

 

Immediate requirement for an experienced finance professional with a demonstrable track record in the control of large scale multiple Projects. Experience of the Telecommunications environment is an advantage however applications from individuals currently holding senior finance positions within other sectors are welcome. In addition to demonstrating a strong competence in the creation and control of finance processes, the applicant will be experienced in liaising with senior stakeholders both in Arabic and English including customers and financial institutions. Knowledge and experience of Saudi laws and regulations will be a distinct advantage.

 

 

The position is aimed at:

 

  • Assisting the Project Director in financial project planning, financial monitoring and reporting, ensuring that reporting takes place in accordance with contractual arrangements.

  • Create, develop and manage all aspects of the project budget, cost and financial projection functions

  • Preparing and maintaining Project financial reports; on performance against budget and other key performance indicators

  • Detailed understanding of the financial performance of project, through interrogation of project cost reports, attendance at review meetings and regular interaction with site staff.

  • Fair understanding of billing, invoicing and collection procedures of different government agencies in the Kingdom

  • A hands-on individual, possessing strong management accounting, reporting and analytical skills

 

Education & experience:

 

  • Bachelors Degree in finance / auditing related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years related experience in a senior finance position within a telecommunication project environment.

  • Excellent PC skills, including advanced knowledge of standard MS Office applications

  • Knowledge of different ERP system and its modules – project, financial info, distribution, and control.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken Arabic & English


 

Contracts Manager

 

Job Reference: MPTCM01

 

NASCO requires an experienced Contracts Manager with a demonstrable track record in developing contractual terms and conditions for large scale multiple telecom Projects. Knowledge and experience of Saudi laws and regulations will be a distinct advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Single point of contact for all contractual/legal contracts for assigned commodities/services

Oversees contract preparation; prepares drafts, lead negotiations, performs analysis of legal issues and coordination with decision making team.

Develop contractual terms and conditions which support the project’s technical and operational requirements

Ensure compliance of contracting and purchasing policies for all contractual/legal documentation for assigned commodities/services. Facilitate cost savings through negotiations for new products and services; renegotiate current and contractual pricing as needed. Direct activities concerned with amendments or extensions of contracts

Provide spend and savings reporting track contracts in database and provide reporting on status of negotiations. Analyze contract performance trends and costs estimated and realized revenues, administrative compliance and overall performance obligations. Drive supplier performance to meet project objectives and strategies. Lead quality review meetings with suppliers. Serve as liaison between business team and legal advisory staff.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in business admin or related field.

5+ years experience in contract administration and legal compliance in a telecom environment 2+ years experience working with governmental agencies in contractual relations and regulatory divisions dealing with telecommunications industries. Experience preparing major telecom equipment purchase and outsourcing contracts.

Superior communication and negotiation skills. Exceptional organizational skills Fully competent in all Microsoft Office applications and MS Project. Fluent in written and spoken Arabic & English

 

 


 

Construction Projects Manager (MT-2)

 

  • Study building contract documents and negotiate with subcontractors

  • Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating sub-contractor activities for the construction of buildings

  • Consult with architects, engineers and other technical workers to make sure design parameters are met

  • To ensure standards of building quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering 5 years experience in managing construction of building projects. Fluency in Arabic & English

 


 

Civils Project Manager (MT-3)

 

  • Responsibility for managing site preparation and readying them for installation of network equipment

  • Fully familiar with the contract documents – drawings, specifications and bill of quantity

  • Work closely to control cost issues on site, compile the variation log and the monitoring of variations

  • Ensure safety and quality aspects of work undertaken are adequately addressed and documented

  • Civil Engineering Graduate 5 years experience in managing civil work projects in a telecom environment. Fluency Arabic & English

 


 

Project Planner (MT-4)

 

  • Advises on conceptual design of overall projects plans / schedules

  • Supporting with the compilation of work scope per project.

  • Monitoring the actual progress on activities schedule, identified variances, highlighted potential problem areas and recommended corrective actions.

  • Coordinates the reviewing of contractors progress updates and the updating onto Master Program

  • Identifies deviations from critical path and proposes solutions to revert to original program

  • Provides reports on activities affecting or likely to affect critical path and achievement of key milestones

  • Reports any significant changes to the project schedule

  • Conduct audits on project plans

 

Bachelor of Engineering or B Tech Degree/Diploma

Computer literacy skills

Planning and scheduling skills. Fluency in English

 


 

CAD Operator (MT-5)

 

  • Drafting of architectural drawings

  • He will be involved in all aspects of technical/drawing duties on a wide range of Telecom projects

  • Preparation of planning applications/presentation drawings from design sketches

  • Ability to create as-built drawings

  • Must be able to do engineering calculations and use Excel spread sheets. Must be familiar with basic architectural features.

Minimum 5 years experience at an engineering or architectural firm Good drawing skills on AutoCAD. Proficiency in English An associates degree or certificate from a technical school is preferred.

 


 

TETRA Systems Engineer (MT-6)

  • Determine and install Tetra Radio communication systems to enable successful integrations

  • Ensure the optimum configuration of large telecom systems and other associated equipment, and bring to its full commissioning

  • Recommend optimum solutions to technical difficulties that might encounter during study, survey, installation, maintenance or operational telecom system/devices installed

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Experience of working in the Installation of large telecom systems of multiple vendors. Motorola Tetra Radio Communication system experience desirable. Proficiency in English

 


 

RF Engineer (SC-8)

 

  • Motorola trunked Radio systems experience

  • Astro 25 experience an advantage

 

Degree or diploma in electronics and communication

5 Years of relevant experience

Good PC skills & English language proficiency

 


 

RF Technician (SC-9)

 

  • Motorola two way mobile/portable radio experience

Degree or diploma in electronics and communication

MW Engineer (SC-10)

 

  • Harris microwave equipment experience

Field Engineer (SC-11)

 

  • Installs variety of Security equipment CCTV, Access Control, etc) at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.

  • Analyzes review and inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action.

  • Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.

  • Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment

  • Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance processes, and recommends modifications to eliminate future problems.

  • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer

  • Develops and conducts training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees, including both team members and customers.

Degree in Electronics
